• Must be a current employee within one of GV BOCES 22 component districts
• 7-12 Certification in either Math, Science, or English

Job Duties:

• Review Career and Technical Education Curriculum to ensure NYSED standards are met for programs undergoing the re-approval process

• $27.00/Hr.

Qualifications:

• One year paid full-time experience working with students with Autism
• Permanent or Professional NYS Certification in one of the following:

  • Speech and Hearing Handicapped
  • Speech and Language Disability
  • Special Education

Prefer Candidates with the following experience:

• Experience in a Special Education related field, including students with Autism Spectrum disorders
• Knowledge of progressive student teaching approaches to include TEACCH and ABA

• $48,000-$60,000

• Seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to assist in developing a new program for high-needs students in the Genesee Valley BOCES region

• NYS Certification for Students with Disabilities Grades 7-12 or Special Education K-12

• Candidates with dual certification in content areas of Math, Science, or Social Studies are preferred.
