Location:

  • Dansville-3 days/week plus 2 days of remote work
  • Regional and statewide travel required
  • Hours: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Start Date:

  • May 1, 2025

Salary Range:

$85,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience)

General Responsibilities

  • This administrative role involves advising and collaborating across multiple departments, providing strategic support to educational programs within 22 component districts and BOCES. The position requires expertise in professional learning, instructional coaching, data-driven decision-making, and program development.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversees the homeschool monitoring service, including report filings and correspondence with families and participating districts.
  • TIG Support
    • Serves as backup to the TIG Coordinator for on-site crisis response management.
    • Coordinates TIG meetings for BOCES sites.
  • School Improvement & Professional Learning
    • Designs and facilitates professional learning opportunities, with a focus on Special Education.
    • Provides onboarding and instructional coaching for new teachers and those in the TIP process, focusing on classroom management, research-based instructional strategies, and goal-setting.
  • Grants
    • Collaborates with grant writers to secure funding and advocate for BOCES and regional programs.
    • Manages grant budgets to ensure appropriate fund allocation.

Other Duties Assigned: 

  • Engages in ongoing professional learning to stay current in best practices.
  • Collaborates across departments to facilitate data analysis, driving strategic decision-making.
  • Identifies and pursues grant opportunities to enhance program offerings.
  • Prepares and submits required reports and documentation.
  • Participates in national, state, and regional travel as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.

 

Job Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Administrative Certification: SDL (School District Leader) required
  • Special Education experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
  • Experience researching, planning, and delivering professional learning and continuous improvement efforts
  • Strong background in curriculum, instruction, and assessment
  • Expertise in professional development and data analysis
