Job Description

Position                                 

• Math Teacher-Early College High School                                                                                                                                   

Qualifications:

• NYS Certification in Math 7-12

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in Mathematics, Education, Technology and/or Business preferred
• A strong candidate would be a math instructor with some business background to potentially teach business courses.
• The preferred candidate will be eligible to be approved by Genesee Community College as an ACE Instructor.
• Willingness to collaborate with a team, incorporate Project Based Learning, work between Byron Bergen location (9^th/10^th graders) and Genesee Community College (11^th graders).

• Genesee Community College and Byron-Bergen CSD

*This is a unique, small, regional high school through Genesee Valley BOCES where students earn an AAS Degree in various college pathways through our partner college, Genesee Community College. The program promotes a unique learning environment, project-based learning, and partnerships with business and industry as we provide guidance for students in career exploration and transitioning to the workforce and/or college.

Salary:                                               

• $45,000-$60,000
• Negotiable based on experience

Start Date:     

• Fall 2025
• Some summer hours may be required.
