Job Description

Position: Enrichment Specialist (0.6 FTE), 10 Month Position                                

• The GV BOCES Enrichment Department is looking for a dynamic educator to join our innovative and student-focused team. The Enrichment Specialist position centers around facilitating highly successful programs for K-12 students in our 22 component school districts.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

Option A: Permanent or Professional classroom teacher certification and at least three years teaching experience, OR

Option B: Initial certification will be considered for temporary or part-time positions, but in most cases, experience in this position cannot be used to convert to a professional certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Is an experienced, dynamic educator who effectively engages students
• Is a collaborative team player, as well as a leader who shows initiative throughout a variety of experiences and activities
• Delivers programs in our school districts with energy and enthusiasm
• Has engaging interactions with district personnel as a front-facing contact to help meet the districts’ enrichment needs
• Is familiar with technology that is currently being used in schools

Rate of Pay and Schedule:

• $45,000- $50,000 @ .6 FTE ($27,500-$30,000)

• 8 AM to 4 PM with occasional evening and weekend events

• September 2025
