Job Description

Position:                                                                                           

• Deputy Superintendent

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Assists the District Superintendent with superintendent searches and supervises in the general operations of BOCES programs.
• Leadership and Personnel Management
• Provide leadership to the Human Resources and Labor Relations department
• Constructs and manages budgets under supervisory areas
• Direct field training to the component school districts and Genesee Valley BOCES.
• Public relations and communications

• LeRoy Service Center

Rate of pay:                                      

• $140,000-$160,000

Start date:                 

• January 2027

Job Qualifications

• New York State Certificate School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL)
• Seven Years experience in public school administration, three of which must be in curriculum and instruction.
• At least five years’ experience as a public-school teacher or equivalent.
