Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant—NYS Certification as Teaching Assistant
• Teacher Aide — High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience working with children and or knowledge of behavioral interventions preferred.

• All Genesee Valley BOCES Locations including Batavia, Mt. Morris, and Dansville locations

Start Date:            

• September 2026

Salary:

• Teaching Assistant—$22,113-$23,342

• Teacher Aide: $20,885—$22,113

• Both positions come with a Full Benefits package including NYS Pension.

Job Duties to include:

• Conduct assistive technology evaluations and provide services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Recommend, customize, adapt, maintain, and support the use of assistive technology devices to enhance student functional capabilities.
• Provide training and technical assistance to students, families, and educational staff.
• Collaborate with families and educational teams to coordinate assistive technology services and support student needs.

Locations:

• Alexander, Attica, Batavia, & Letchworth

Salary range:                                      

• $50,000-$70,000 @ .5 FTE = $25,000-$35,000
• Negotiable based on experience

Starting date:             

• September 1, 2026

Qualifications:        

• Appropriate NYS License or Civil Service Requirements
